Exterior house painting from the people doing your roof

A new roof on a faded house still looks like a faded house. True Roots paints the whole exterior, and if we're already doing your roof, you get one company, one schedule and one person to call for both.

What the sun does

Arizona sun is hard on paint

Years of direct sun fade the color and break down the paint itself. Run your hand across a wall. If it comes away chalky, the finish is wearing out.

Stucco moves with the heat, so hairline cracks open up, and trim and fascia take the worst of it. Once paint peels off wood, the sun and the monsoon go to work on the wood underneath.

Paint isn't just looks. It's the layer that keeps sun and rain off everything under it.

Time to repaint if you see

  • Faded color, especially on the south and west walls
  • Chalky residue on your hand when you touch a wall
  • Peeling or flaking paint on trim and fascia
  • Hairline cracks in the stucco
  • Bare wood showing at fascia, doors or window trim
  • A notice from your HOA about paint condition

Colors, HOAs and the written estimate

Many HOAs in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley want to approve paint colors before work starts. Your written estimate spells out the surfaces, products and colors, so you have what the committee asks for.

One company, one schedule, one person to call. That's the point of doing roof and paint together.

Pick your colors

Bring your HOA's approved palette or your own ideas. The colors go in writing before we start.

We cover what isn't getting painted

Windows, walkways and plants get covered before the paint comes out.

We set the day with you

You pick the window, and you know who's coming before they arrive.
