Compassion
People Come First.
A home holds more than an investment. It holds people’s everyday lives. Our commitment is to listen before we recommend, respect your property, and approach your concerns with honesty and care.
Our story
Our Roots Run Deep
Four generations of Arizona heritage. A commitment to the next generation.
True Roots began with a simple belief: the way you treat people matters just as much as the quality of the work you leave behind.
Our name reflects founder Mike Livingston’s Arizona family roots and the values passed down through generations. Today, those values guide the company he’s building: compassion for people, connection through trust, and pride in work done well.
The owner
Meet Mike Livingston
Mike is a fourth-generation Arizonan whose family has called the Valley home for more than a century. Growing up, he knew his great-grandparents and learned from generations on both sides of his family. He watched them work hard, care for others, and honor their commitments.
An Arizona State University alumnus, husband, and father of two boys, Mike founded True Roots Construction to carry those lessons into his work. The name is personal: it honors the people who shaped him and the example he hopes to set for the next generation.
- Fourth-generation Arizonan
- Family in the Valley since the late 1800s

Connection
Relationships Built on Trust.
Trust starts with listening and grows through clear communication and follow-through. We want you to understand your options without feeling pressured—and to feel comfortable calling us long after the work is done.
Craftsmanship
Quality That Lasts.
There is dignity in doing a job well. We believe careful work and attention to detail matter, including the parts you may never see. Our goal is work we can stand behind and you can take pride in.
How we work
Maybe you need a roof. Maybe you don't.
We get on the roof and photograph what we find, so you see what we see. Then you get a written recommendation and a price, and you decide.
When a roof does need replacing, think tires. A cheap 30,000-mile tire and a 75,000-mile tire both roll off the lot. We'd rather put the 75,000-mile tire on your house.
